Freem (IFFR 1978)

"The crystallized moment in which one can see the painter's reaction to his surroundings..."

Application of double frame technics with two synchronized 16 mm projectors. Each frame functions alternately as the 'abstract' painter's canvas and as a 'concrete' filmscreen itself.

[The title "Freem" is a dutch vocalization of the english word "frame".]
